PURINA VETERINARY DIETS EN is a highly palatable complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions in cats of all ages, including kittens. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut. It also contains a limited number of protein sources to help minimise any food reactions.
PVD Feline EN contains prebiotics and omega-3 fatty acids to help promote a healthy intestinal environment, and is low copper to minimise the risk of liver damage. Note that some types of liver disease require a low protein diet such as PVD NF.
If your cat has liver disease, please check with your veterinary surgeon which PVD diet is the most appropriate.
